COMPASS
The road of life can be rough
as it twists and winds.
The compass we should follow
is not found in the mind.
You can ask for directions
on which way you should go.
But when you look inside yourself
you’ll realize that you know.
Your ego tries distracting you
and tells you that you’re wrong.
Your heart calls to remind you
that you’ve known it all along.
Will you follow fear
not looking where you step?
Or listen to your heart
where your true compass is kept!

A MUST DO AFTER AN INTERVIEW MEETING~
Always end by demonstrating your interest in the position – One of the biggest
feedbacks I get from hiring managers is: “Yes, I really liked their experience, but
I’m not sure if they are interested.” At the end of the interview, end it by
reinforcing your interest in the position. Something as simply as, “Thank you for
your time today, I really appreciate it and I am definitely interested in taking the
next step as you see fit. Look forward to hearing from you.” Don’t leave them to
wonder, go ahead and put yourself out there. Just make sure you don’t appear
desperate either.

Career and Life Coaching Tip of the Day!
Research shows that 83% of executives are more likely to hire AM job seekers. And 70%
of all hiring decisions are made before 11:00 AM. So obviously, if you can help
suggest the time of an interview, make it before 11:00 AM.Avoid Mondays and Fridays.
On Monday, people tend to have too much to do and on Friday they are anticipating the
weekend and ready to get out of the office. So the very best times for interviews are
Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings between 8-10:00. The little things can tip the
scale in your favor.

Interview Tip of the Day!
A major interview mistake is failing to "listen carefully" to the questions. Please don't give an answer to a question that wasn’t asked.
