~TAKE A POWER NAP~
TAKE A POWER NAP
Stop running yourself ragged. It will not do you any good if you are
always tired. You'll start to lose focus on things. You will start to
get irritated easily. You will also find yourself taking things out on
the people who are close to you and if you let this continue it will
effect how you interact with people and any negativity that people feel
will make them feel uncomfortable.
All of this can and will
happen when you don't get your proper rest. Even if all you have is time
for a power nap, rest will bring rejuvenation, relaxation, a more
positive attitude and an all around new, refresher you.
EXCUSES * EXCUSES * EXCUSES
via Encouragement, Inspiration and Words of Wisdom~
EXCUSES * EXCUSES * EXCUSES
Day in and day out, week in and week out, month in and month out you keep doing everything except what you need to be doing. You need to write that book, start that business, clean that office, make those phone calls and put things in order. When you first said it, it was ok, then after the 2nd, 3rd and 4th time it started to turn into excuses.
You know you have the power and the ability to get it done. Stop talking yourself out of doing it. Stop saying it's too hard, it will take too long or I don't have enough resources.

REFLECTION...
"The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, or not to anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly." — Buddha

Enlightenment!
There
are only two symptoms of enlightenment, just two indications that a
transformation is taking place within you toward a higher consciousness.
The first symptom is that you stop worrying. Things don't bother you
anymore. You become light-hearted and full of joy. The second symptom is
that you encounter more and more meaningful coincidences in your life,
more and more synchronicities. And this accelerates to the point where
you actually experience the miraculous. (quoted by Carol Lynn Pearson in
Consider the Butterfly)”
― Deepak Chopra, Synchrodestiny
Opportunity!
“When you reach an obstacle, turn it into an opportunity. You have the choice. You can overcome and be a winner, or you can allow it to overcome you and be a loser. The choice is yours and yours alone. Refuse to throw in the towel. Go that extra mile that failures refuse to travel. It is far better to be exhausted from success than to be rested from failure.” – Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics

Success!
So, what does predict success? Research tells us it’s using the right
strategies that leads to accomplishment and achievement. Sounds simple,
but strategies like being committed, recognizing temptations, planning
ahead, monitoring your progress,
persisting when the going gets tough, making an effort, and perhaps most
important believing you can improve, can make all the difference
between success and failure.

Brainstorming Power-Exercises!
5 brainstorming power-exercises you can do in 15 minutes:
- Freewriting: Have a general idea or topic in mind.
Then set the clock and write anything that comes to mind. No matter
where your idea goes, keep writing without stopping to review what you
wrote. This technique will help you unlock any article ideas you have
locked in your brain.
- Recall: After you’ve finished reading something
(e.g. an article, book, etc.) set your stopwatch and begin writing
everything you can remember about it. Any impressions? How do you think
the topic impacts your niche? This technique helps build your authority
by gathering new information and sharing originality.
- Bounce: Whether it’s a peer, a friend, or family
member, talk to someone! Discuss your ideas or a new trend in your
niche. This technique helps you get feedback on your idea, gives you
another perspective, and allows your original idea to evolve.
- Lists: Pick a topic and begin creating a list of
all the attributes of that topic. To give your list more direction,
attempt to continue narrowing each topic into a more specific topic or
list elements that are related to that topic. For example: Fruit,
Apples, Seeds, Water, Fructose, Cross-Pollination, Photosynthesis, etc.
This technique helps you create articles that are more focused and
consider areas that are often left untouched by other Expert Authors in
your niche.
- Impact: Consider your topic using an “impact” lens or the effect your topic has on you and your readers. Ask yourself: how does your topic impact you, your niche, your community, or society at large? This technique helps you consider your topic from another perspective, as well as creates a point-of-entry or orientation for readers.

Every path we have taken up until this moment provides us insight into
life, others and ourselves. When we allow ourselves moments of silent
reflection we can see how where we have been can lead us to where we
want to go.

Happy Monday Quote!
Charles Dubois once said, “We must be prepared, at any moment, to sacrifice who we are for who we are capable of becoming.” I love this. It's so true. The more we risk and the more we are vulnerable the more rich and rewarding our life will be. How does this quote make YOU feel?

Challenge for next week:
Challenge
for next week: Train yourself to finish what you start. So often we
become scattered, overwhelmed with life and never end up completing the
task at hand. This week slow down and focus one ONE THING AT A TIME.
Finish one task before you begin another. This is so important because
ultimately the finish is the part that counts the most.
